There is good news for Bullet 350 fans. Yes, as the market leader in the middleweight motorcycle segment, Royal Enfield is on a mission to refresh its 350cc portfolio. The first bike to get an all-new platform and J-series engine was the Meteor 350, which was launched in 2020. Last year the new-gen Classic 350 was launched and this year the Hunter 350 was launched. After Hunter, now there is a preparation to upgrade the Bullet 350.

How much will this bike change from before?

Not much change will be made in its look. The new-gen Bullet will come in the market with its old bold look appearance. Like its old model, the bike will be seen with a completely country look and bold road presence. It has been spotted several times during testing, with some major changes including a new headlamp and taillamp. Overall, the new-gen Classic 350 is not much different from the old Bullet.

Chrome highlights have been used a bit more in this. A little more chrome has been used in it as compared to the current bullet. Chrome bits can be seen on the headlamps, turn indicators, fuel tank and rear view mirrors. Another feature is the long chrome plated exhaust pipe.

Will have all these features

The retro theme remains largely the same, with features like round headlamps and turn indicators, classic tear-drop shaped fuel tank, old school utility box on the side, broad rear mud guard and wire-spoke wheels. However, no official announcement has been made by Royal Enfield about this bike yet.

Likely to come with new color options

It is possible that some new color options may be introduced for the new-gen Bullet 350. The standard Bullet in its current look is offered in color options of Bullet Black, Onyx Black and Bullet Silver. Regal Red and Royal Blue color options are also available in the Bullet ES (Electric Start) variant.

Riding ergonomics is largely the same, though the single-piece saddle may get better quality foam for a better user experience. The bike features a wide, ergonomically placed handlebar for optimum comfort and minimal stress. The scooped out rider section of the seat ensures optimum comfort and control. The pillion seat section is long and wide and comes with grab rails for added convenience and safety.

What will be the engine of the new-gen Bullet 350?

Talking about its engine, the new-gen Bullet will use the new 350cc platform, which is currently on the Meteor and the new Classic 350. The engine will be the new J-series unit, which is capable of producing 20.2 bhp of maximum power and 27 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The current 350cc engine gets a little less power at 19.1 bhp. However, the torque exceeds 28 Nm.
